The land that we examine is that of
New England in the United States. It is a pioneer land, strong, and rich whose inhabitants have fought with great courage to create.

It is a society that has been the source of many current energy generators: abolitionism (cf bios of
H.Beecher Stowe or F.Douglass), Independence ( cf bios of John Adams and Samuel Adams or J.Hancock), and feminism (cf bios of A.Hutchinson and M.Fuller)...

 Provence Côte d'Azur

The region of Provence Côte d’Azur extends from the Camargue to France’s far east, from the Vaucluse and the Alps of Upper Provence to the Italian border and the de la Roya Valley.

Within these reaches there is a mosaic of landscapes like the Brignolais, the Toulonnais, the Vençois, Grasse, Aix and Nice’s hinterlands, not to mention the Vésubie Valley or the High Valley of the Var. All of these areas are united by the Provençal language and a common historical heritage...

 Presentation

The archipelago consists of the island of Malta, Gozo and Comino, as well as the small inhabited islands of Cominotto, Filfla and Saint Paul.

The surface area of the island is 320.2 km, but its geographic location bordering Italy and at the passages to Africa and the Middle East has made it a place coveted by numerous nations.

In eternal vacillation between the Orient and the Occident, Malta has acquired its richness from both of these cultures.

We will discover the
Knight Hospitallers who have finally settled in Valletta. Before or after settling in Valletta, under the directions of  Pierre d'Aubusson , Philippe Villiers de l'Isle Adam or Jean Parisot de La Valette or other heroes, they also fought against some armies like the ones of Saladin or Soliman .
